On any given day, at least one incident transpires that reminds me of this new reality (truth be told, it is usually several incidents per day). My Glasses illustrates an oft-occurring and totally flaky phenomenon:
I know I put my glasses here.
I saw them yesterday.
This is infuriating.
I need them right away.
I’m nearsighted and also have
severe astigmatism .
The world without my glasses
is like looking through a prism.
I've looked high, I've looked low.
I've even looked beneath my bed.
Please help me find my glasses.
Oh! Here they are...
Upon my head!
