Four weekend weddings in a row. I cannot think of a more wonderful way to spend my time. Oftentimes, I have watched the bride or groom grow up, sometimes since birth, and to see them so happy makes my heart fill with joy. Truth be told, however, a tiny, nagging thought creeps into my mind as they walk down the aisle: knowing the statistics, will this marriage beat the odds?
Anyone else ever have this thought? What one piece of advice would you give to a new bride and groom?
How did May sneak up on us so quickly? We welcome the warmer temps and blossoming flowers, but we do not welcome the prospect of...ugh...bathing suit shopping! To be honest, it was never really fun, but at this age, it is torture.
Anyone have a story to share about the trials and tribulations of bathing suit shopping? Any good tips on the art of of camouflage or optical illusion?
It's wedding season, and I have been trying to slip into my cocktail dresses. Hmmmm, it seems that some shifting of body parts has occurred. This calls for the assistance of one of the best inventions of the decade.
Does anyone have a Spanx story to share?
My first illustrated collection of poems is available for purchase.
